I recently posted an article here about the best dating site online today. I wasn’t able to quite narrow it down to one winner. I got an email today from a reader that said I should start a post and have others comment on what they think are the best dating sites and why. So here it is.
Let’s get everyone’s opinions on this. You all know I personally only use dating sites that offer a “Hookup Guarantee” like the ones listed on our Main Page. But what about you guys?

- Ratio of Females:Males
- Different ways to connect
- Discretion
- Usability
- Support
I am a member at Match.com for a year now. I tried so many dating sites before using them and was always disappointed at the lack of responses I got. Now, with Match, I’m getting some attention from the girls. Surely one of the best dating sites out there in my opinion.
Hey guys. when you’re talking about the best dating sites you have to throw eHarmony on that list. And sure, guaranteed hookup sites are alright too but not if you’re looking for a serious girl that wants a commitment.

Surely a debate that won’t soon be resolved. Everyone has their own idea of what the best dating sites are. i agree with that point. But I like to use Fling & Date.com. The reason i use them is because of their popularity. I read somewhere on your blog that the big players in the dating industry have pretty awful man to woman ratios. It’s true, but don’t all dating sites have more men than women?
There’s only one site i use religiously for all my online dating needs. Adultfriendfinderis the best dating site out there right now. Gold members have the ability to chat with their webcameras with each other and meeting people is easy. Of course, you need to upgrade if you want to meet someone. Without the upgrade you’re unable to even contact other members. Good luck!
Someone mentioned Adult Friend Finder. That is not the best dating site by any standards. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I paid for a three month subscription and ended up not meeting anyone despite my many efforts to contact women, have a kick a$$ profile, I uploaded some great photos, and still, nothing. I am a member at Plenty of Fish right now, but again, things seem bleak..
Hello, good point. I’d like to add my 2c on this subject. I’ve tried lots of different dating sites and I have to say the best dating site I’ve ever tried is Lavalife.com
It used to be great for meeting women back in the day. Not sure how it is right now. I too am looking to get back into the dating game since I am as of late single again. So I feel it’s time to get back in the game. So my choice for the best dating site is Lavalife.
Will join and come back to give you guys my opinion on how they are now. Unless someone has some success with one of these hookup sites.
From a woman’s point of view I have to say I really like using Plenty of Fish. It’s free, has lots of users and is really easy to find men. So in my book, POF is for sure one of the best dating sites out there.
